Your impact:

  • Support customers and In-house (Admin and Operations).
  • Installation assessment and commission of the electrical systems of associated industrial and marine products.
  • Troubleshoot industrial and marine engines electrical systems in dedicated workshops or customer sites, vessels, factories.
  • Repair industrial and marine engines electrical systems in dedicated workshops or customer sites, vessels, factories.
  • Ensure that guidelines and standards of work expected by Baudouin are understood and met.
  • Maintain Professional appearance and manner at all times, consistent with client and company expectations, and in doing so help to promote the image of the company.
  • Set a good example to colleagues by completing all necessary Company documentation punctually and in accordance with the guidelines or schedule issued (Including Time Sheets. Staff Expense Claima, site reports, etc.)
  • Prepare and witness electrical trials including trouble shooting.
  • Coordinate projects that involve both R&D and after-sales teams.
  • Act as a source of information on emerging technologies and methodologies.
  • Ensure that the knowledge transfer from R&D to After-Sales is accurate, relevant and up to date.

Your assets:

  • University Bachelor Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated field experience in diesel or gas engines industry within the last 10 years.
  • Experience with Marine or Powergen power systems, control systems electrical circuits, electronics and instrumentation.
  • PLC knowledge and experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Industry Professional training is an advantage.
  • Safety Certification Ocupational Safety and Heath Admonistration (OSHA) or similar.
  • Understanding electrical systems design, power distribution, control systems and instrumentation.
  • Proficiency in diagnostic and solving electrical issues in marine, power generation and, power plant industry.
