Your impact:
- Support customers and In-house (Admin and Operations).
- Installation assessment and commission of the electrical systems of associated industrial and marine products.
- Troubleshoot industrial and marine engines electrical systems in dedicated workshops or customer sites, vessels, factories.
- Repair industrial and marine engines electrical systems in dedicated workshops or customer sites, vessels, factories.
- Ensure that guidelines and standards of work expected by Baudouin are understood and met.
- Maintain Professional appearance and manner at all times, consistent with client and company expectations, and in doing so help to promote the image of the company.
- Set a good example to colleagues by completing all necessary Company documentation punctually and in accordance with the guidelines or schedule issued (Including Time Sheets. Staff Expense Claima, site reports, etc.)
- Prepare and witness electrical trials including trouble shooting.
- Coordinate projects that involve both R&D and after-sales teams.
- Act as a source of information on emerging technologies and methodologies.
- Ensure that the knowledge transfer from R&D to After-Sales is accurate, relevant and up to date.
Your assets:
- University Bachelor Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated field experience in diesel or gas engines industry within the last 10 years.
- Experience with Marine or Powergen power systems, control systems electrical circuits, electronics and instrumentation.
- PLC knowledge and experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Industry Professional training is an advantage.
- Safety Certification Ocupational Safety and Heath Admonistration (OSHA) or similar.
- Understanding electrical systems design, power distribution, control systems and instrumentation.
- Proficiency in diagnostic and solving electrical issues in marine, power generation and, power plant industry.
