Your impact:

  • Develops and implements all strategies necessary for the engine development in accordance with the specifications.
  • Supports the engine development work on all engine control strategies, by calibrating functions, test them and validate them on test devices or.
  • Monitor and analyze engine performances tests.
  • Test implementation for evaluation of engine components and accessories.
  • Propose measurement configuration.
  • Organize tests, simulations, and related analyses.
  • Participate in engine development to meet current regulations.
  • Participate in the testing of new after treatment systems
  • Implement and conduct tests on diesel engines.
  • Study and analyze data provided by the after-sales, production, and quality departments.
  • Support technical teams within the Company, analyze engine failures, malfunctions, and perform diagnostics, expertise when failures.
  • Prepare engine performance reports, and communicate to the relevant audience.
  • Evaluate the performance of implemented solutions.
  • Monitor advancements in testing methods.
  • Manage technical and technological changes.
  • Ensure sharing of knowledge and information with all company interlocutors for whom this represents a utility.
  • Participate in cross-company projects.
  • Link with the Weichai Weifang teams on test resources and the conduct of tests in China. (6 trips/year in China)
  • Participate in commissioning, field tests on customer site.

Your assets:

  • Engineer degree specialized in engine development.
  • Minimum 5-year experience in engine development.
  • In-depth understanding of internal combustion engine operation.
  • nowledge of calibration parameters.
  • Proficient in engine testing technologies.
  • Knowledge of norms and specifications related in internal combustion engine.
  • Normative knowledge on after treatment system (SCR, DPF).
  • Knowledge of physical measurement / instrumentation.
  • Mastership of INCA and performance analysis graphical software (Uniplot or other) is a plus.
  • Creative and innovative with autonomy and strong attention to detail, rigor.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French including technical language
  • Ability to work in project mode and lead projects.
