Baudouin to Showcase Its Marine Power Solutions at SMM 2026

Baudouin is pleased to announce its participation in SMM 2026, taking place in Hamburg, Germany, from 1–4 September 2026.

As one of the key international events for the commercial marine industry, SMM is an important opportunity for Baudouin to showcase the breadth of its marine power solutions. From propulsion engines to auxiliary power, from conventional diesel technologies to lower-carbon alternatives, Baudouin offers a wide portfolio designed to support the needs of commercial marine operators across a broad range of applications.

Whether for passenger vessels, workboats, ferries, offshore support vessels, patrol boats, inland waterways, fishing vessels or other specialized marine applications, Baudouin’s solutions are engineered to deliver the reliability, performance and efficiency required in demanding operating environments.

Three Engines Highlighting the Strength of Our Marine Portfolio

At SMM 2026, Baudouin will place a special focus on three key engine platforms, each addressing different power requirements, emissions regulations and fuel transition needs.

6M21.3 with SCR: Compact Power for IMO Tier III Compliance

One of the highlights of our stand will be the Baudouin 6M21.3, delivering 368 to 441 kW.

Now available with an integrated SCR aftertreatment system, the engine supports compliance with IMO Tier III emission standards while maintaining the robustness and reliability expected from Baudouin marine engines.

The 6M21.3 is also HVO-compatible, providing operators with a practical solution to reduce their carbon footprint without compromising performance. Thanks to its compact design, responsive operation and proven durability, it is particularly suited for commercial vessels operating in emission-controlled areas.

12M26.3 with SCR: Higher Power, Proven Reliability

Visitors will also discover the Baudouin 12M26.3 with SCR, covering a power range from 883 to 1,214 kW.

Designed for demanding commercial marine applications, the 12M26.3 combines strong power output, durability and operational efficiency. When equipped with SCR, it supports compliance with IMO Tier III requirements while keeping the performance needed for intensive marine operations.

This engine is well suited for vessels requiring reliable high-power propulsion, including ferries, patrol vessels, offshore support vessels, tugboats and larger workboats.

6WH17: Diesel and Methanol Solutions for the Fuel Transition

Reflecting the evolution of the marine industry toward alternative fuels, visitors will also be able to discover the Weichai 6WH17, available in both diesel and methanol versions.

Covering a power range from 480 to 882 kW, the 6WH17 gives operators greater flexibility in their fleet strategy. Its diesel version provides a reliable and proven solution for commercial marine applications, while the methanol version supports the transition toward lower-carbon marine propulsion.

Join Us on Stand A3.221

Beyond these flagship engines, visitors will discover additional products, scale models and technical displays showcasing the full scope of our marine power offering.

Our marine experts will be available throughout the exhibition to discuss propulsion and auxiliary power solutions for a wide range of commercial marine applications.

To mark this year’s exhibition, Baudouin will also host a special product launch event on September 1st at 11:30 on our stand.

We look forward to welcoming customers, partners and industry professionals to Stand A3.221 at SMM 2026 in Hamburg.
