Powering the Next Generation of Naval Vessels
From 3 to 6 November 2026, Baudouin will be exhibiting at Euronaval in Paris, one of the leading international events dedicated to naval defence and maritime security.
Bringing together naval forces, shipyards, equipment manufacturers and industry specialists from around the world, Euronaval provides an opportunity to discuss the technologies shaping the future of naval operations.
At Stand C77, Baudouin will present its expertise in marine propulsion, with a particular focus on solutions developed for demanding naval and high-performance applications.
Meeting the demands of modern naval operations
Naval vessels operate under conditions where performance, availability and reliability are critical. Patrol vessels, fast craft and other mission-driven platforms require propulsion systems capable of delivering high levels of power while meeting demanding operational profiles.
Engine integration is also becoming increasingly important. Power density, installation constraints, maintainability and lifecycle support all need to be considered from the early stages of a vessel programme.
With more than a century of experience in marine engines, Baudouin combines propulsion technology with application engineering and long-term technical support to address these requirements.
The 16M45 at the centre of the display
A key highlight at Euronaval 2026 will be a scale model of the 16M45, Baudouin’s new high-power engine platform currently under development.
Developed with demanding marine applications in mind, the 16M45 is particularly suited to high-performance patrol boats, fast vessels and other naval platforms requiring a strong combination of power density, robustness and operational reliability.
Its development also reflects Baudouin’s continued expansion into higher-power marine propulsion, addressing applications where compact integration and high performance are essential.
Euronaval will provide an opportunity to discover the 16M45 platform and discuss its potential integration into future naval projects with Baudouin’s technical teams.
More than an engine
A propulsion system is only one part of a successful vessel programme.
Throughout the exhibition, Baudouin teams will be available to discuss the wider requirements surrounding naval propulsion for marine defence and security, including application engineering, engine integration, technical support, training and spare parts.
This combination of engineering expertise and lifecycle support enables Baudouin to work alongside shipyards, integrators and operators throughout the different stages of a marine project.
Euronaval 2026 will also be an opportunity to reconnect with partners, meet naval professionals from international markets and exchange around the next generation of high-performance marine applications.
