Commitment to the Maritime Industry

As the maritime industry faces growing demands for efficiency, compliance, and robust performance, Baudouin is proud to attend the Workboat 2024 exhibition. Taking place from November 12-14, 2024, at the Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA, this event will see Baudouin showcasing two of our leading marine propulsion engines, the 6M33.3 and 6F21. These engines deliver reliable, powerful performance across diverse marine applications, meeting the operational demands of today’s marine industry.

6M33.3: Versatile Power for High-Demand Applications

The 6M33.3 marine engine is engineered to provide compact, continuous power for a wide range of demanding applications. With a displacement of 19.8 liters and a robust inline 6-cylinder configuration, it delivers up to 1,020 horsepower at 2,000 RPM, making it a top choice for tough maritime environments, including tugboats and workboats.

Equipped with advanced technologies, including a common-rail electronic injection system and a high-efficiency turbocharger, the 6M33.3 optimizes fuel management while maintaining steady, high power output. This ensures consistent performance in challenging conditions, and with a design focused on ease of maintenance, operators benefit from a durable engine that offers both reliability and accessibility for high-pressure operations.

6F21: Compact, Efficient Power for Diverse Marine Operations

In addition to the 6M33.3, Baudouin will feature the 6F21 marine propulsion engine, delivering powerful performance in a compact form. With a displacement of 12.5 liters, the 6F21 generates up to 1,000 horsepower (735 kW), positioning it as one of the most powerful engines in its class able to operate in a large number of applications, including yachts, passenger boats, commercial fishing vessels, and workboats.

The 6F21 stands out with cutting-edge technologies, including a 6-cylinder configuration, two-stage turbocharging, dual intercoolers, and a high-end common rail system. These advanced components work together to achieve superior performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions control. Its compact size (height : 1,150 mm and width:654 mm) optimizes engine room space, providing greater flexibility in vessel design and additional space for essential equipment..
