Baudouin Marine Propulsion for the Panorama Passenger Catamaran
Baudouin’s marine propulsion engines are renowned for their exceptional reliability and performance, continually setting new standards across diverse maritime applications.
Recently, Baudouin partnered with Xanthis S.A., a power and propulsion solutions provider and trusted distributor in Greece, to equip PANORAMA — a pioneering 20-meter passenger catamaran built by Eleftherakis Shipyard for the Union Boatmen of Santorini.
The vessel entered service in June 2024 and now operates daily charter activities and high-speed pleasure cruises around the iconic island of Santorini.
Powered by two Baudouin 6F21 engines, each delivering 900 HP (662 kW) at 2300 RPM, PANORAMA achieves a service speed of 20 knots while accommodating up to 240 passengers.
Built with a GRP hull, the vessel represents a new generation of innovation in Greek shipbuilding, combining compact yet powerful engines with improved fuel efficiency and reduced emissions compared to older propulsion systems.
